1.Connect the signal cable to the host and the probe, and tighten the plug with the fixing screw.
2.Press ON/OFF key to turn on the rebar gauge, enter the option menu, and preset the rebar diameter
3.Pick up the probe and put it in the air, at least 30cm away from the concrete surface and metal objects, and check whether the rebar detector deviates from the zero state at zero.
4.Place the probe parallel to the steel bar and place it on the concrete surface at the beginning of the measurement area. Move the probe along the direction of the concrete vertical bar. During movement, the indicator bar grows and the thickness of the protective layer decreases, indicating that the probe is moving in the direction of the steel bar. When the center lines coincide, the indicator bar is the longest, and the thickness of the protective layer is the smallest. Read the measured value of the thickness of the concrete protective layer of the first test, and repeat the test once at the same position of the tested steel bar, and read the second concrete thickness protection Value, the axis position of the reinforcement will be marked. After testing the thickness of the steel bar protective layer in the measurement area, the distance between adjacent steel bars that have been marked is measured at a time.
