Measurement methods:
●Rebar Detector automatic measurement
The sensor runs parallel to the direction of the reinforcing bar, sweeping across the reinforcing bar at a constant speed, and the instrument emits a beep, prompting the sensor to cross a reinforcing bar, at which point the protective layer display value is automatically updated to the thickness of the protective layer at that location.
●Rebar Detector manual measurement
The spacing of the reinforcing bars is smaller than that described in the above table, and the thickness of the protective layer is determined by manual measurement.
Parallelly move the sensor parallel to the reinforcing bar, sweep it over the reinforcing bar at a constant speed, and determine the thickness of the protective layer according to the change of the current distance display value and signal value.
●Rebar Detector minimum protective layer thickness measurement
This feature is mainly used in the following situations:
1. Quickly check whether the thickness of the concrete protective layer meets the minimum design value and alarm the abnormal point;
2. Check if the steel bars are supported after the template is removed.
