Classification according to usage
1. Portable harmful gas detector
The instrument will be sensor, measurement circuit, display, alarm, rechargeable battery, pump, etc. assembled in a shell, become a one-piece instrument, compact and light, easy to carry, pump sampling, can be tested at any time and anywhere. Pocket instrument is a kind of portable instrument, generally no pump diffused sampling, dry battery power, very small volume.
2. Stationary harmful gas detector
This kind of instrument is fixed on the spot, continuous and automatic detection of the corresponding harmful gas (steam), harmful gas overlimit automatic alarm, some can also automatically control the exhaust fan. Stationary instruments are divided into one - piece and two - piece.
Integrated fixed harmful gas detector: similar to the portable instrument, the difference is installed in the field, 220V ac power supply, continuous automatic detection and alarm, mostly diffused sampling.
Split-type fixed harmful gas detector: the sensor and signal transmitter circuit are assembled in an explosion-proof shell, commonly known as the probe, and installed in the field (dangerous place); The second part includes data processing, secondary display, alarm control and power supply. Classification according to the tested object and sensor principle
1. Combustible gas detector (abbreviated as explosion detector, one instrument detects a variety of combustible gases)
2. Catalytic combustion combustible gas detector can detect various combustible gases or vapors.
3. Electrochemical toxic gas detector can detect CO, H2S, NO, NO2, CL2, HCN, NH3, PH3 and a variety of toxic organic compounds.
4. Infrared combustible gas detector can detect all kinds of combustible gas (depending on the filter technology).
5. Semiconductor combustible gas detector can detect a variety of combustible gases.
6. The thermal conductivity combustible gas instrument can detect hydrogen gas whose thermal conductivity is different from air.
