The Underground Water Leak Detector is mainly used to detect leaks in buried tap water pipelines, and a listener to accurately locate the location of the leak point can also be used to accurately locate the leak points of other liquids and gases. Today we focus on understanding the work flow and method of PQWT-CL500 Underground Water Leak Detector. We chose to bury the fire protection pipeline at a depth of 2.5 meters under a certain industrial park. The pipeline is made of metal and the ground is cement road.
First of all, we first understand the overall components of the PQWT-CL500 Underground Water Leak Detector: the host cable, headphones, listening rod, sensor, charger.
Next we assemble the PQWT-CL500 Underground Water Leak Detector:
(1) Connect the main interface of the cable to the host
(2) Four-core interface access sensor
(3) Connect the headphone cable
Turn on the noise canceling switch
Bring headphones
Long press the start button to enter the start interface, and the measurement is officially started.
There are two main measurement methods for the PQWT-CL500 Underground Water Leak Detector: rough measurement and precise measurement:
Rough measurement of the first measurement method
Double-click to select "Spectrum Analysis"
Enter spectrum analysis measurement mode
Long press on the handle switch
Adjust the volume and gain to the proper position
It is better to hear the sound clearly
Place the probe on the pavement above the pipe to be detected
Long press on the cable handle switch to detect
After completing a point measurement
Release the handle switch
Detect every other meter along the pipeline and press the switch to detect
The sound heard in the headset changes when a leak is detected
Increase the volume The overall spectrum on the instrument display will increase
The reaction is more obvious the closer to the leak
Suspected to be a leaking point here
The second measurement method
Double-click and select "Filter Analysis" to enter the filter analysis measurement mode
The interface has eight options
Each option sets different frequency bands according to different pipes and ground materials
Select the corresponding frequency band for measurement according to the actual measurement site conditions
Feel free to choose E option according to the measurement environment
Metal water pipe-hard soil measurement
The measurement method is the same as the spectrum analysis measurement
When the distance is far from the leak, the sound in the headphones is relatively stable
Low signal strength displayed on the instrument
When a leak is detected, the sound heard in the headset will increase significantly
The signal strength displayed on the instrument will be significantly higher than other leak-free measurement points
At this point we can determine that this is the leak point
PQWT-CL500 Underground Water Leak Detector Precautions"
1. Never put the sensor probe into water
2. Handle the sensor probe gently.
3. It is recommended to choose the measurement under the circumstance of small environmental interference, it is best to carry out in the middle of the night.
4. If the instrument is left unused for a long time, it needs to be charged once a month.
5. In soft soil detection, it is better to connect the sensor to the sound bar to insert the soil layer.
