1. Audiometry
The acoustic detection method mainly determines the location of water leakage based on picking up the sound of water leakage from the water supply pipeline. This detection method is widely used in the general survey of water leakage of various pipelines, and is conducted under the condition of small environmental noise interference. The Underground Water Leak Detector is convenient and easy to operate, and is not limited by pipe diameter, material, and detection time.
The acoustic leak detection method is divided into two types: valve plug listening and ground listening. The former is used to find the clues and scope of water leakage, referred to as leak point pre positioning; The latter is used to determine the location of water leakage points, referred to as accurate location of leakage points.
2. Correlator detection method
The correlation leak detection method is currently an advanced and effective leak detection method, especially suitable for areas with high environmental interference noise, too deep pipeline burial, or unsuitable for ground listening. The correlation instrument can quickly and accurately measure the precise location of underground pipeline leakage points. It can perform high-precision pipeline water leakage detection operations.
3. CCTV pipe endoscope inspection method
The CCTV pipeline endoscope detection method is applicable to the detection of various leaking pipelines, which can clearly see the image data of the inner wall of the pipeline. In particular, it provides effective detection solutions for large diameter pipes such as PE, PVC, ceramics, cement, and pipes that are deeply buried and difficult to detect. The instrument used is a CCTV pipeline endoscope robot.
4. Tracer gas detection method
Carry out air supply in the sealed pipeline, and after the completion of the inflation test, conduct a pressure test on the pipeline to find abnormalities and confirm the leaking pipe section. Inject a hydrogen nitrogen mixture (5% hydrogen and 96% nitrogen, with the lightest hydrogen and strong penetration) into the pipeline, generally reaching 2 kg/cm. Carry out pumping detection with the bell probe of the hydrogen detector above the pipeline at intervals of 0.5 to 0.8 m along the pipeline direction, each time lasting about 20 to 30 seconds. Make detailed records of the abnormal points and surrounding areas, and then conduct further detection to find the exact location of the leakage points.
This method is suitable for various pipeline detection, with the characteristics of safety, non-toxic, non flammable, and high detection accuracy. The instrument is simple to operate, and can locate small leakage points in water and gas pipelines.
5. Far infrared thermal imaging testing method
Photoelectric technology is used to detect infrared specific band signals of thermal radiation from objects, convert the signals into images and graphics that can be resolved by human vision, and further calculate temperature values.
The use of a far infrared thermal imager can detect information related to corrosion, cracking, thinning, plugging, and leakage of product transmission and pipelines, refractory and thermal insulation materials, and various reaction furnaces. It can quickly and accurately obtain two-dimensional temperature distributions on the surfaces of equipment and materials. Complex large equipment cannot be frequently shut down for inspection. Far infrared thermography can detect potential safety hazards as early as possible, providing a scientific evaluation of the equipment's use status, and ensuring its safe operation.
