How Does The Rebar Detector Work?

Rebar Detector Working Principle:

Concrete element sizing or reinforcement placement is best done using two techniques - pulsed magnetic induction or electromagnetic waves.

Rebar Detector Suitable:

3D scanning is recommended prior to drilling, sawing or coring in ready-made reinforced concrete up to 300mm deep. Magnetic induction/radar technology combined with 3D scanning allows you to detect voids as well as foreign material inclusions including: metal and plastic pipes; fiberglass cables; wood.

Based on the test results, Rebar Detector  the quality of the concrete is checked, including the evaluation of the curvature of the members, the uniformity of density and the depth of the reinforcement. Scanners can also be used as wire detectors.

Typical Concrete Rebar Detector:

Typical concrete rebar detector: Ground penetrating radar that uses radar pulses to generate images. Receive and transmit antennas. A unit for converting magnetic pulses into stereoscopic images. Rebar Detector  power supply. Screen for viewing scan results. The flow of electromagnetic radiation is used to record reflected signals from internal structures whose density index differs from that of the substrate.

The radar method uses the effect of reflected waves that encounter obstacles in their path, in the form of rebar or hidden pipes. Technical Capability To ensure the structural performance and durability of reinforced concrete, the location of the reinforcement and its depth are key variables. Therefore, it is very important to determine the scope of Rebar Detector  application, the characteristics of the measuring equipment, the measuring procedure and the necessary precautions.

When using Rebar Detector in concrete, the electromagnetic induction method is used, and the depth of the rebar is usually no more than 200 mm, and the depth of the radar is no more than 100 mm. The height and nature of the relative position of the rebar is irrelevant.

The main standard sizes of induction steel bar detectors produced at home and abroad are suitable for detecting steel bars with a diameter of 3-50mm.
